Depressing Moment of The Skeleton Key
Last night, I was watching this new thriller which stars Kate Hudson.
After watching the 90 minute movie, i felt so affected. Its about a Good Hearted nurse who quit her job in the hospital because she thinks it getting too commercialized and end up being a home hospice nurse for some paralized guy. But the house has so many dark secrets and in the end, she "lost" herself ONLY because she was just trying to help.
This movie is about Voodoo magic and if you can always manage to pull yourself out of a depressing moment, please go watch it. Its good. The feeling is like watching "The Others" except the ending is really really sad. I hope they have a Part 2 to balance this up.

Turning Point
Perhaps many people doesn’t know, I became a DJ because I wanted to be a singer. I thought of it as a stepping stone. I used to be one of those KiaSu (afraid to loose) amateurs that participated in all sorts of Music related competition.
In Sec 3, I won my school’s song writing competition(only 1 entry & that’s me). In Pre-U, I won the school’s Singing competition. During National Service, I also won the Army’s Singing Competition and came out 2nd in the Army Courtesy Song writing competition(first was this fat guy rapper who is quite famous whom Annabel Francis married to, and he released his album not too long ago). Then I went on to take part in TV’s singing competition and I won week after week and that’s how I got to know 林志炫。He and 李翼were on the judging panel when they were on their 少年游 CD promo. They gave me the highest marks that night. I feel proud about that!!
Although im not a Super Fan of 林志炫’s voice but I kept liking his songs. For example, 不知所措﹐散了吧﹐蒙娜麗莎的眼淚 & recently I fell in love with his song from the latest album called 熟男情歌。 I’ve interviewed him before. We didn’t exactly have sparks during the interview but I did recall I told him that he judged me singing before. He giggled. We had a pleasant time talking. He was generally a nice person and know what, his character matches his looks.
Sometimes, life is full of leaps and turns. After leaving 優克李林, I guess he wouldn’t know he would make it so big in China on his own. And as for me, I took a turn from singing to becoming a DJ. But after 12 years of putting aside my dream, its awakened now. I might not be Super good in Writing music and Singing, but its something I’ve always wanted to do for a long time. I remember I told my Sec 2 teacher I wanted to be a Song Writer. I’m still working hard on it, teacher.
Rather Live a Life Full of Mistakes, then a life Full of Regrets.
