Swing Here, Swing There
Everybody has mood swings. So does actor, singers, DJs.
I recall I interviewed 潘美辰 in 1996 when i was working Taiwan. Back then she was really popular. She looked very cool but, unfriendly. I remember I was asking her to do a cute version of a Radio Station ID, but she looked at me with her half dropping SunGlasses and said coldly, “I don’t know how to do it.”
Years later, when she was in Singapore, and less popular, she became suddenly very friendly. She even made fun of me and Violet’s name. She called us 粉圓荳漿。We laughed and laughed that afternoon.
Recently she has shifted her career to China. And its rare we can hear her out again, in Singapore. If you can remember, she even had her own concert in Singapore before. There was a time she even nearly won the most popular Female Singer. She has so many hits…是你﹐不要走不要走﹐想要有個家﹐我曾用心愛著你﹐一生托給一個人 and so many more. Hope she will sing older songs. Those that we grew up with. Best Wishes to her and also, wish that she will be in a good mood that concert night. Haha.
